Paid Internship-Winery Representative Trainee

Company Profile:
This luxurious winery chain is seeking customer-service oriented people to represent their upscale winery clubs in Beijing. Duties include presenting the winery’s facilities to potential members, frequent interaction with current members, wine appreciation learning, group sales, and product knowledge demonstrations.
Internship Description:
1. Members Reception: introduce potential clients to the winery, from the beginning to the end, showcase the winery facilities. Amenities the winery club: wine cellar, coffee bar, billiards rooms, lounge, VIP rooms, and other promotional wine displays
2. Sales: Primary focus on Group Purchasing; ,sales target: local government organizations, large businesses and corporations, universities and culinary schools , etc )
3. Wine Trainer: Learn and interpret extensive wine knowledge, proper wine tasting, wine appreciation, and give live demonstrations.
4. Working hours: 5 days per week. From 3PM to 11PM with a one hour break for dinner.
Job Requirements:
1. Conversational Mandarin Chinese/ Basic Mandarin Chinese.
2. Quick language learner, (after intensive Mandarin classes provided by the winery, interns should and will be expected to be able to hold a conversation with clients).
3. Bachelor’s degree or current student.
4. Fluent in spoken English.
5. Customer service, sales, retail, food and beverage service industry experience.
Additional Benefits:
1. Visa advisement.
2. Sponsored tutoring for conversational and wine term-specific language training.
3. 10 hours per week of Mandarin courses.
4. Apartment search assistance from YCC. Interns can live offsite but must pay their own rent.
5. Alternatively, the winery provides free shared dorms for bedroom and bath. Free dinners included.
6. Adequate monthly stipend negotiable considering qualifications and background experience.(1,500-5,000 CNY a month)
