Litigation & Recovery Manager

This is a tier-one European bank with more than 50 years history in China and a growing presence in Asia. Also, amidst the previous financial crisis, it remained to be the more stable and liquid foreign banks globally.
Currently they are looking for a Litigation & Recovery Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
• As a Manager you will lead a team of two Recovery officers and you will supervise the construction of the collection team based in Suzhou. Ensure the teams are working productive and efficient in combination with the local regulatory requirements;
• Analyze business performance and initiate ways to improve;
• You will supervise, manage and review the legal process done by the law firm in terms of legal cases, legal turnaround time and their efficiency;
• Have a hands on mentality towards customer complaints around legal issues, know the local dept regulation and the legal procedures in relation to them;
• Be up to date and implement all the issues around operation, credit risk, compliance and AML
Key Requirements:
• At least eight years of solid experience in the same field
• Knowledge of Credit Risk, debt regulation & legal procedures for consumers;
• China experience, fluency in both English and Mandarin is key;
• Basic computer knowledge, MS Office
• Law degree is an advantage
