Chinese Commercial Agent

On behalf of a large cork manufacturing company based in Portugal, which has a history of more than 100 years and a worldwide sales network, are now looking for suitable candidates for the Commercial Agent position based in Beijing (preferentially).
The Commercial Agent (China) will develop, maintain, and manage all aspects of key customer relationships. He will be responsible for selling corks produced in Portugal to customers in China. In addition, the Commercial Agent will be responsible for selling other company products and services into the Chinese market as appropriate. The Commercial Agent will manage the sales process from the proposal phase to the closing of the sales contract.
Responsibilities:
• Develop target list of buyers for company’s cork products in China;
• Conduct prequalification of potential buyers in China;
• Manage sales execution and customer relationships with key buyers in China;
• Monitor and provide market intelligence in China to the headquarters.
Requirements:
• Chinese citizen;
• Male preferred;
• Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in economics, management, or internationaltrade from an internationally recognized university(preferentially);
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English;
• Strong networking and negotiation skills;
• Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally including a training period of 2 to 3 months in Portugal.
