Description:
We are searching for an experienced metallurgical engineer specialized in stainless steel casting and machining. The incumbent will form a part of the Chinese – European team, and will serve its technical knowledge to improve stainless steel casting/ machining processes in several factories in Zhejiang province. We are searching for a person with great level of technical experience, gained preferably in China, but also accept applications from other countries. Selected candidate will be required to assess and improve production processes in casting as well as machining factories. The position is equally open to Chinese and foreign candidates.
Responsibilities:
• Design – give advice on dimensions and tolerances in the product drawings.
• Wax Pattern Making – improve existed wax molds and create new molds.
• Casting – develop solutions to production issues (sand holes, black points, etc.)
• Reshaping – develop existed reshaping methods/tools and produce new reshaping tools.
• Machining – provide technical guidance in the machining processes.
• Polishing – provide technical guidance in the polishing processes.
• Undertake other tasks as required.
Requirements:
• Honest and willing to develop.
• Educated in metallurgy, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• More than 5-years working experience (Chinese foundries/ machining workshops or abroad).
• Understanding of stainless steel casting, reshaping and machining technologies.
• Understanding of medium temperature wax casting technology.
• Aware of CAD/ CAE and CAM environments.
• Foreigner with basic Chinese.
• Chinese with communicative English.
• Production optimization certificate (e.g. lean six sigma) is a plus.
