General Summary of Responsibility:
Core role consists of daily support and proactive maintenance to work on the "Day to Day Prioritization of Tasks" in order of criticality from top to bottom.
In addition to the main sysadmin job scope, this new recruit is expected to play an active role in expanding the front line support / comms role to encompass software usage queries, bug fixing, enhancement requests, and software security issues, from the beginning onwards.
Other more expanded aspects of the role include training, coordination, communication, planning and discussion, potential TL-level management responsibilities, and deeper involvement with software development work as required.
Work Experience Requirements:
? At least 5 years full time work in IT in PRC
? At least 8 years working experience in total, more experience is preferred
? Experience working in a team environment in a company with 100 employees or more
? Experience of maintaining mission-critical systems and being depended on for their running. Familiarity with SLA concepts.
? Experience with documentation and reporting.
? Experience working in project teams, if not project managing.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
? Technology or science degree
? Windows 7 & Windows XP, Microsoft Office
? Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory
? Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) incl Routers, Switches and Firewalls
? Proxy Servers
? PC and Server Hardware
? Telephony
? Cat 5 cabling
? Basic level linux for server setup and maintenance
? Backup management
? Password and user access/permission management
? (Hands on Experience with all of the above)
? Active knowledge of HTML, PHP, MySQL, javascript, CSS
? Knowledge of linux command line
? General server and db administration
Excellent User Support/Customer Service Skills with considerable experience
Residence Requirements:
Must show strong evidence of potential to stay stable living in Shenzhen. SZ hukou preferred. Mainland China passport only.Can consider HK.
