Project Manager with experience in IT Software Development

Chinavasion Wholesale Ltd is seeking a professional Project Manager to join the team in ouroffice in XiliNanshanDistrict,Shenzhen.
We are interested in energetic, confident, versatile communicators, who are not afraid of getting stuck into the IT / software aspects of projects. Experience in large corporations, or in software projects, or in business development are all advantages.
This is a full time office job with competitive salary for a person of any nationality. Good English is a must; we prefer someone who is Chinese or fluent in Chinese. Salary depends on applicable experience. Let us know your target salary level in your application.
We are willing to consider less experienced applicants as well as more senior professionals.
Our company has around 80 staff based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In our company,formal projects are initiated for complex change programs, which require a PM to coordinate the non-dedicated stakeholders/participants and expedite the work across the affected teams.
Such change programs usually have a particular end in view from the senior management,but need a project manager to pull together the many threads and progress through the detailed phases. The phases of a project would generally include researching the current practice or situation, documenting existing suggestions or improvement work, recommending improvements and consulting on consolidated recommendations, drafting implementation plans, gaining approval and confirmed mandate/budget, and then working through the
implementation and review stages.
As will be obvious, we are not formal or dogmatic about terminology or project management processes, although we are seeking a person who can bring in good practices.
Examples of projects in our company include:
- Standardizing markup and pricing update policy for shipping prices in our online checkout for a complex combination of different shipping destinations, couriers, and weight bands;
- Upgrading a content management system in our website that is in constant and active use by various staff teams and customers;
- Standardizing customer membership level benefits, and improving customer and staff awareness of them;
- Creating and agreeing a comprehensive service contract with an outsourced customer support provider we are already working with;
- Add a new ecommerce payment method or new shipping method for a particular target country and market it to that segment of customers.
