Experienced Metallurgical Engineer – Part Time Position
Location: Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai
Description:
The great opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Metallurgical Engineer, specialized in Stainless Steel Casting. The incumbent will be working together with the Project Manager located in China and various teams of European and Chinese engineers in order to revise, improve and unify casting production process in several factories across P.R.C. This is a highly motivating position and involves assessment of the production process from the innovative, effective and economical perspective. Selected candidate will be offered a part time position with the possibility to extend it for the full time contract in the future.

Responsibilities:
• Design – advice on dimensions and tolerances in the cast and final product drawings, which allow to create high quality and cost effective products.
• Wax Pattern Making – review existed molds and give advice on its improvement. Assist in the process of new molds creation.
• Casting – review existed casting processes (in different foundries) and develop solutions for current production issues.
• Reshaping – review existed reshaping methods/tools and assist in the development of existed and production of new reshaping methods/tools.
• Undertake other tasks as required.
Requirements:
• University degree/above in industrial, mechanical or metallurgy engineering.
• 5-year above work experience in the casting/ reshaping process gained in the Chinese factories.
• Great understanding of stainless steel casting and reshaping technologies.
• Good knowledge of medium temperature wax casting technology.
• Sound awareness of CAD/ CAE and CAM environments.
• Fluency in English.
• Holding Lean Six Sigma certificate is a plus.
