Role Summary/Purpose:The Process Systems Business Development Manager will focus on sales activities to drive growth in their assigned region for Process Systems. Key activities will include opportunity identification and tracking, quotations, expanding distribution channels, expanding system integration and design institute partnerships, and closing sales.
Essential Responsibilities· Opportunity Identification, tracking, quoting, closing sales - Identify opportunities providing revenue estimates, competitive situations, timing, and quotations. Provide clear communication to GE Fanuc management on customer needs and what is needed to win. Provide win/loss analysis. Must be able to close sales since will be measured on revenue.
· Expand distribution channels - Work with channel management to review current channel structure and make recommendation to add or delete to increase market penetration.
· Expand System Integrator and Design institute partnerships- Identify and build relationships with new system integrators and design institutes in process industries to grow Process System sales.
· Voice of Customer - Provide voice of customer input proactively and as requested to management team.
Qualifications/Requirements:· Minimum 3 years sales of DCS systems.
· Successful record in Chemical or Petrochemical is a plus.
· Working Knowledge of MS Office based products.
· Working knowledge of pipeline and opportunity management methods.
· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
